Nature's order and the human order

Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem.

In the name of God, the most gracious and most merciful

And we have created you in pairs.

Quraan 78:8

The prophet Muhammed (SAW) used to spend time in a cave which was known as Mount Hira located in Mecca. This is also the place where our Nabi Muhammed (SAW) received the first revelation from Allah SWT through the angel Jibrael (Gabriel). Muhammed (SAW) wanted to know who the real God was so an increasing need for solitude led Muhammed (SAW) to seek seclusion and meditation. The prophet Muhammed SAW would retreat to the cave engaging in tahanuth.

Judging by these facts, the place where wisdom can be attained for each individual is by reading and observing the order of nature. While spending time in seclusion and in nature, life gives you clarity of thought, sharper eyesight, purer feelings and unhindered nature.

When looking at the animal species, horses for example; when you deal with them, you will realise that they still need proper management. You will also soon identify them as individuals, each horse having its own tamper, manners, needs and abilities, each horse joins its herd but no two horses are identical. When you become aware of this, you manage them as a herd but look after them as individuals. You will be as kind to them as a mother to her offspring. While this order applies to horses, it is more clearly applicable to people. Allah is so great that he has also created the animal species in pairs.

We notice that when it comes to humans, some people's lives cannot flourish unless they have leaders to manage their affairs. Whoever rebels will perish. A wolf will only attack a lone sheep. If people stick together, each will have their own personality and intellect. They will pursue their individual ways, interest and what is determined for them.

None can totally replace another. If this was to be than people will not need one another, none will need what someone else has.

Thus, being together is the means of maintaining their individuality and their differences bring them together.
